There is yet one

So, yesterday, I was up north at a youth conference with some people in my youth group. The theme this year was Impact 2013. The speaker was AMAZING!!! The text he used was 1 Kings 22. The first session was about standing up for Jesus Christ in this world. So, here are the notes I took.

If you decide to be the one that stands for Jesus:

• Some people will hate you.

Don't compromise your beliefs!

• Some people will try to talk you out of it.

1. They will use the argument of logic - "You won't make it; it'll never work."
2. They will use the argument of loneliness - "You'll be the only one doing it."

1 Kings 22:14

• Crazy people will call you crazy.

I decided that I will be one that will stand up for Christ, no matter what people think of me or say about me. "So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me."
