What Do I Believe?

What do I believe about what? Eternal life, that's what. Well, it's all in my absolute favorite book in the world: the Bible. Romans 3:10 says "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one." Romans 3:23 pretty much repeats 3:10, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." So, we're sinners, we've come short of the standard God set. And for everything wrong we do, there is some kind of punishment. Romans 6:23 says it pretty well: "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." This isn't just physical death, but spiritual death that lasts for all of eternity. So, what has God done about it? Romans 5:8 says it nicely: "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." So, God demonstrated His perfect love toward us; Jesus Christ died almost 2000 years ago. But He didn't just die; up from the grave He arose on Easter morning three days after His death. Matthew 28:1-10 tells the story of His resurrection: "In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. 2And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. 3His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow: 4And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men. 5And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. 6He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. 7And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you. 8And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word. 9And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.10Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me." We just celebrated this holy day on Sunday. That's what Easter is all about. So, what do I do about my hopeless hopeless for me to do by myself) condition? Romans 10:9-10 says it in one of the best ways: "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
This is what I believe. Hope you at least take it into consideration.
